> Academic Philosophy
Academic PhilosophyAdelphi Christian Academy is committed to an academic program that is rigorous by design, classic in nature, and based on a Biblical Worldview. We instruct from primary sources and classical material intended to prepare each student for academic success. Whether a student chooses the work force, a secondary education or which ever post secondary institution, it our goal that the student will be ready. Our students are challenged to develop prerequisite skills to succeed at any endeavor they desire. Our standards and expectations exceed all state and federal standards for graduation requirements and Adelphi is accredited by the National Association of Private Schools (N.A.P.S.), and a member of the Association of Christian schools International (ACSI). Student Requirements and ExpectationsThe administration and faculty of Adelphi Christian Academy have the reasonable expectation that a student who applies to Adelphi for admission is both serious and committed to a rigorous and rewarding educational experience. Students who are accepted are required to commit themselves to the application of studies and completion of the academic program. Adelphi Christian Academy is not a program for those whose intent is other than this intended result. All new students are accepted on a “six week” initial probationary period and continued enrollment will be determined by the student’s performance both academically and behaviorally. |
